Sanatana Dharma College, Alappuzha offers BA, B.Sc & B.Com courses in different specializations at the UG level. Candidates who have qualified 10+2 from a recognized board are eligible to apply in these courses.

Admission to BA, B.Sc and B.Com done on the basis of marks in 10+2.

• Candidates must have 45% in 10+2 to be eligible for B.Com admission.

The college offers Ph.D. in 5 specializations. Candidates must have a Master’s degree with 55% marks to be eligible. Admission to Ph.D. is based on the performance in an entrance test conducted by Kerala University followed by an interview. Those with DBT-JRF, DST-INSPIRE, GPAT score are exempted from the test.

• The syllabus of Kerala University Entrance Test consists of 50% questions from research area and the rest from the specific subject.
• Candidates who have already qualified NET-JRF or lectureship of the UGC/CSIR or ICAR/GATE or ICMR JRF or the scholars who have been selected for the fellowship by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment or the state level eligibility test conducted by Kerala Government are also eligible.
• Candidates who have qualified DBT-JRF, DST-INSPIRE, GPAT, or have 7 years of experience and at least 2 research papers or those with DM/M.Ch. degree are exempted from taking the university entrance test.
