Patkai Christian College Admission 2023: Application Process

Patkai Christian College offers BA course in 6 specializations, BSc degree course in 6 specializations and a B.Com course to the aspirants.

Candidates who have qualified 10+2 or its equivalent qualifying examination in any discipline from a recognized board are eligible for admission to the UG courses.

Admission to these courses is given on the basis of candidate’s merit in 10+2.

Key points:

• B.Sc course is offered in Pass and Hons. modes.
• For B.Sc (Pass), Mathematics is the compulsory subject with any two from Physics/ Chemistry and Geology.
• For B.Sc (Pass and Honors), candidates can select any three subjects from Physics/ Zoology/ Geology/ Chemistry/ Botany.
• For BA (Pass), Music is the compulsory subject along with any two elective subjects.
• BA (Pass and Honors), any three subjects from English/ Economics/ Education/ Political Science/ History/ Philosophy.

Patkai Christian College offers a three-year BMus and four-year BMus Honors Degree along with Diploma in Music (under KAUSHAL) to the aspirants.

Candidates should have passed 10+2 in any stream with at least 40% marks and have Music Theory and Practical equivalent to Grade 3 Trinity or The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) where Music Theory is equivalent to Grade 5 Trinity or ABRSM are eligible for admission to BMus.

Admission to BMus/ BMus (Hon.)/ Diploma in Music is given to the applicants on the basis of their merit in 10+2 as well as considering their performance in the Audition round followed by personal interview.

Important points:

• Candidates shall submit the application form in person or through the post before the last date of submission i.e. by the last week of April.
• Eligible applicants are called for entrance test and audition.
• Candidates are required to perform one piece during the audition and are later interviewed by the concerned faculty.
• Candidates then have to appear in the music entrance test conducted immediately after the audition round.
• The result of the audition round is declared within a week from the day of commencement of the test.

Patkai Christian College offers a two-year full-time MA course in English and two-year regular M.Sc course in Geology and Environmental Science.

Applicants who hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relative discipline are considered eligible for admission to any PG course.

Selection of the candidates is solely based on their performance in graduation. The merit of UG Degree is considered for shortlisting the eligible candidates for admission to the desired PG course.
