Key Points to remember for UG program:

Candidates are offered admission in second year and third year if they pass in the qualifying examination of first year and second year respectively.
B.Sc. blended degree course is in collaboration the University of Melbourne (UOM), Australia and the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune (IISERP).
Candidates seeking admission in BBA/BCA/BBM with two-year Diploma in Pharmacy after H.S.C., Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent.
Also, three-year Diploma Course (after H.S.C., i.e. 10th Standard) of Board of Technical Education conducted by Government of Maharashtra or its equivalent and MCVC.

Key Points for Ph.D. Admission:

Candidates with a Master's degree or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% (50% for reserved categories/differently abled) marks in aggregate.
Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. Course work with minimum 55% (50% for reserved categories/differently abled) aggregate marks or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-point scale.
Candidate on successfully completing the M.Phil. Degree shall be eligible to proceed to do research work leading to the Ph. D. Degree in the same institution in an integrated program.
Candidates possessing a Degree considered equivalent to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian institution, from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency.
Candidates qualified in UGC-NET, JGC-CSIRNET (Including JRF)/SLET/GATE (valid score) or teacher fellowship holders will be exempted from the Entrance Test for Ph.D. program.
Candidates who have passed M. Phil. Program of the Savitribai Phule Pune University will be exempted from the Entrance Test for Ph.D. program.

Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce Application Process 2023

The process of application is online for all the courses and entrance examination.

Application process for the admission in any course is the college is given below:-

Click on the “ePravesh” tab on the official website of college.
The form has to be filled with all the necessary details.
Candidates have to upload his/her photograph and after that click on “Save Information”.
The filled application form has to be downloaded online and download the Fee Challan by using option ‘Print Challan’ and get the hard copy of (printout) fee challan.
The fee challan has to be checked, signed and sealed by the concerned Clark as mention in the respective places for checking the admission form.
Following this, the hard copy of the application form along with the fee challan has to be sent to the college with attached photocopy of required documents.
While filling the Online Application form, select proper option FEE PAYING Category to get proper fee challan.
The fee challan should be paid to Bank of Maharashtra, Modern College Branch only after verification by college authorities.

Note:

Foreign and NRI students are not directly admitted to the College for any course of University.
These students must obtain necessary permission from University authorities and complete the formalities prescribed by the University.
Such students will be governed by rules framed by the University, College and other concerned authorities from time to time.
The students coming from other than Maharashtra State may be given admission to the respective courses depending upon availability of vacancies in accordance with eligibility norms prescribed by the University.
