Guru Nanak College of Engineering and Management is a private institute established in 2009 by Guru Nanak Education Trust. It is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun and approved by AICTE.
GNCEM offers UG and PG courses in technical as well as management field. The courses include B.Sc., B.Tech, BBA, BCA and MBA. All are full-time courses and intake for each course is 60 students.
- GNCEM absorbs candidates based on different criteria as per the course that candidate have applied for.
- To be eligible for UG courses, candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream is requites to apply for MBA courses
- B.Tech and MBA candidates are selected on merit in national level entrance exams viz. JEE Main and CAT/MAT respectively.

GNCEM provides four-year full time professional degree courses in Bachelor of Technology with four streams of specialization.
The basic criteria to apply is to pass 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects. However, Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE) score serves as a basis of merit for B.Tech admissions. The entrance examination is held once a year. It is held in two phases – Main and Advance respectively.

- There is a provision of direct admission to second year called as lateral entry.
- Candidates with a certificate in any three-year full-time technical diploma course can avail admission through this lateral entry scheme.

GNCEM provides two-year full-time MBA program with four streams of specialization. Basic criterion for admission to MBA program is graduate from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate and a valid CAT score.
The online admission process involves shortlisting on basis of CAT/MAT score obtained by candidates. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for interview conducted by the college post which, final merit list is issued.

Guru Nanak College of Engineering and Management Application Process 2023
Admission process differs according to the program to be applied for. Online and offline both modes are available.
Offline:
- For BBA, BCA and BSc programs, brochure and applications forms can be obtained by visiting the institute or contacting office personnel to send documents by post.
- The form thus obtained should be properly filled and submitted to the institute by post or in person.
- Relevant documents and application fee must be submitted to institute along with the form. Fees can be paid via demand draft/cheque/net banking.
- The institute then shortlists candidates and displays merit list, which are to be followed to complete further process.
- Shortlisted candidates need to verify their documents by producing original copies at the time of admission.
- Course fees (installments or whole) are to be deposited in institute’s bank account and receipts obtained are mandatory for class registration of candidate.
Online:
- For B.Tech, MBA online mode of application is followed based on scores of JEE Main and CAT/MAT respectively.
- After the declaration of results of these exams, candidates need to fill up the option form for centralized admission.
- If candidates get allotted to GNCEM in any of initial rounds they need to simple visit institute and verify documents post which the process for online admission is same as offline admission process explained above.
