KS Institute of Technology, a non-profit, charitable organisation was established in 1952. Its K.S. Polytechnic College was founded later in 1992 and the engineering branch was founded in 1999. The college is present at the Raghuvanahalli area of Bengaluru. Within a short period of time, the college has gained excellence in education.

The college offers B-tech in various fields along with post graduate courses like Machine Design and Digital Electronics & Communication etc.  Telecommunication Engineering is also offered by the college.
