Terna Engineering college offers several scholarships, fee waiver schemes, teaching, and research assistance to meritorious and deserving students. A large number of students tremendously benefit from such schemes.
TPCT’s College of Engineering management realizes the importance of encouragement to academic achievers. The governing body of the college has initiated Late Smt. Dr. Chandrakaladevi Padmasinha Patil (Smt. Dr. C. P. Patil) scholarship to rankers/college toppers/class toppers. COE awards scholarship in the range of INR 10000/- to 30000/- to toppers in various categories.
Govt. of India and Govt. of Maharashtra has initiated post metric freeship/scholarship for socially weaker students. It sponsors full/Part of tuition fees under freeship/scholarship schemes. The government has also initiated a support mechanism through a scholarship to the economically weaker sections under the EBC facility. Students from minority communities are also reimbursed part of tuition fees through DTE, Maharashtra. In totality, 40% of students in Terna are benefited worth INR 7 crore per annum from the government.
AICTE has started a special scholarship scheme for Jammu & Kashmir students under PMSSS.
Grant is received from AICTE for the Implementation of Prerana Scheme for SC/ST Students for 2 years at the institute.
The scheme aims at providing financial support to institutes who are willing to put extra efforts for engaging and training SC/ST students for competitive examination. The broad objective of the scheme is to help aspiring SC/ST students seeking higher education through admission tests like GATE/GPAT/CAT/CMAT/TOEFL/IELTS and GRE.
