Shivnagar Vidya Prasarak Mandal’s College of Engineering, Malegaon Admissions 2024: Eligibility, Reservations

The college offers four years B.E course in 6 disciplines with the annual intake of 390 students. For admissions to B.E program, the university prepares the merit list of all the eligible candidates who hold a valid JEE (Mains)/ MHT-CET score.

Applicants must have done HSC with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject as one of the options. They must have scored 50% marks in aggregate (45% for the reserved category).

For lateral entry, a candidate should have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc with at least 45% aggregate marks. They must have passed XII with Mathematics as one of the subjects. English should have been medium of instruction at B.Sc level.

• 80% of seats in every discipline is open for CAP round admission. Rest 20% are for management quota admissions.
• Out of seats reserved for admissions through CAP, 30% are reserved for female candidates.
• Admissions for vacant seats after CAP round and due to the cancellation of admissions are done for management quota.

SVPM’s College of Engineering offers 2-year M.Tech courses in 2 specializations- Design Engineering & Digital Engineering with an annual intake is 36 (18 in each course). The admission is done on the basis of GATE scores.  

An applicant must be an Indian National and has completed bachelor degree program in Engineering (B.E) or Technology (B.Tech) with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of reserved categories).

• Domiciled candidates are given preference.
• For the sponsored applicants, minimum of 2 years full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any government department or government autonomous organization in the relevant field in which the admission is being sought is necessary.
