CSIR- Central ElectroChemical Research Institute B.Tech Admission 2023
CSIR- Central ElectroChemical Research Institute offers a unique B. Tech course in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering. Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech course should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Academic) – Class XII as per the TNEA 2021 norms prescribed by Anna University. The admission will be on the basis of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) rank list.
Candidates seeking admission under other state quota should have passed (10+2) or the equivalent exam recognized by any Central Board / Sate Board or any other Board (other than Tamil Nadu) accepted by Anna University, Chennai. Candidates should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. For General and OBC(NCL) category minimum marks in PCM should be 50% and for SC/ST it should be 40%. The candidates will be selected on the basis of JEE Main All India Rank.

The selection of candidates will be purely based on the merit list as published under TNEA 2021.
TNEA or Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions is conducted by Anna University, Chennai for candidates wishing to pursue Engineering degree in institutes belonging to Tamil Nadu.

- The candidates need to apply online on the official website of the institute.
- Candidates should download the application form and upload duly filled application form online.
- Allotment will be made based on the merit list.
Candidates need to bring the following with them during counseling:
- Call letter of TNEA 2021.
- Bona fide Certificate (Candidates who have already been admitted to other colleges, are required to produce a letter from the Head of the Institution stating that the original certificates are submitted at the College)
- List of originals documents:
- Mark sheet of HSc or Equivalent Examination
- Mark sheet of SSLC standard
- Conduct Certificate
- Permanent Community Certificate
- Certificate of Physical Fitness

- 4. In addition, candidates also need to bring a Demand Draft for Rs.30,450/- drawn in favor of the Director, CSIR-CECRI payable at Karaikudi towards College Fees.
Application Process for Other State Quota
- The candidates need to apply online on the official website of the institute.
- Candidates should download the application form and upload duly filled application form online.
- Candidate should also need to send the hard copy of the filled-in application form affixing a photograph and signature to the prescribed address.
- The permanent residence certificate should bear the signature of the competent authority.
- Application fees for General and OBC category is Rs. 200 and for SC/ST is Rs. 100.
- Application fees should be in the form of D.D drawn in favor of the Director, CSIR-CECRI payable at Karaikudi.
- All supporting documents and DD should be sent along with the application.

Additional Course/Training Program
CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), is conducting refresher courses/ training program in various fields, each for a duration of 5 days. Interested candidates have to send the application form at the prescribed address.
Each candidate has to pay Rs. 17,250/- (Course Fee Rs. 15,000/- + Rs. 2250/- as 15% Service tax). For overseas fees is USD 750.
