Government Law College (GLC), Mumbai was established in 1855. It has the distinction of being the oldest Law College in Asia. GLC offers 3-year and 5-year degree courses in law. Additionally, it offers PG Diploma courses in 3 disciplines. GLC, Mumbai also offers Diploma in Cyber Law, in association with the Asian School of Cyber Law.

Candidates seeking admission in Diploma courses should obtain and fill admission form available at the college office or at the official website of the college. GLC, Mumbai Application Process 2023
Candidates can apply for CET by following the below-mentioned steps:
- Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of the GLC, Mumbai.
- Application form fees for CET is INR 800 (INR 400 for reserved categories).
- Admission form is also available at the college campus.
- The duly filled application form should be submitted to the college within the prescribed time.
Following documents are required to be attached with the application form:
- Scorecard of CET
- The original statement of marks with an attested copy.
- Original Caste Certificate by students intending to avail benefits of reservation.
- Passing certificate and certified copy of document indicating the date of birth, for example, school leaving certificate.
- Two recent passport size photographs
- In the case of a student migrating from another University, a Provincial Eligibility Certificate issued by Mumbai University will be required.
- Application for the certificate is to be made to the Registrar of Mumbai University in the prescribed form along with the fees.
- In the case of a student passing out from a college affiliated to the Mumbai University, a Transfer Certificate (T.C.) from that college will be required. The application for the T.C. should be sent to college in the prescribed form.
- Foreign students seeking admission should produce their passport and student visa at the time of admission. Those holding a tourist visa or entry visa will not be considered.
Note: Candidates from outside Maharashtra with a degree from universities located in states other than Maharashtra belonging to any category will be considered as an open category.
