Mahakal Institute of Technology and Science is a part of the Mahakal Group of Institution (MGI) and was established in 2006 by Prasar Shikshan Evam Seva Sansthan (PSSS) with an aim to look into the overall growth of a student apart from technical education.
The institute ranks amongst the best technological institutions in the state and has contributed to all sectors of technological development.
MITS is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Central Region (New Delhi). MITS is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishvavidhyalaya and accredited by NBA.
The institute offers Post Graduate course in Master of Computer Application (M.C.A.) for a duration of three years. Admission to this program is done on the basis of the MP Pre MCA Exam. Candidates can also seek direct admission via lateral entry.

MITS Ujjain MCA Admission 2023
Mahakal Institute of Technology and Science offers admission for three years of the regular postgraduate program in MCA.

MITS Ujjain MCA Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in BCA or B.Sc (Computer Application) & Science with mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized university with minimum 50% of marks in the aggregate from a recognized university.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST or OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh can apply with at least 45%.
- The Bachelor's degree must be of a minimum of three years duration after passing Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of (10+2) system or equivalent.
- Candidate should have a valid score in MP Pre MCA Entrance Exam.
MITS Ujjain MCA Selection Process
Admission to the MCA program will be granted on the basis of online off-campus counseling conducted by the State Government.
Admission in MCA against M.P. domiciled candidate seats, All India Seats, J&K Resident/Migrant Seats shall be done through Counselling on the basis of separate common merit lists prepared on the basis of the qualifying examination.
Note- Candidates securing equal marks, preference will be given to the older age candidate.
- All such candidate who has passed the qualifying examination with grace marks are also eligible for admission, but grace marks will not be included for minimum percentage condition mentioned above.
- All such candidate whose qualifying examination marksheet is based on grading system has to produce a conversion of grade to marks as per the conversion formula mentioned in their marksheet.
Candidates will have to carry a set of hard copies and bring along the original following documents:
- Class X & XII Examination Certificate and Mark-Sheet
- Graduation Mark-sheets and Degree Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Category certificate
- Income Certificate, if applicable
- Migration Certificate (Candidates of another state)
How to Apply for MITS Ujjain?
To apply for admission, the candidates must follow the given steps-
- Candidates can apply online at the MITS admission portal.
- For new users, create a new login ID and password by entering email ID and phone number details.
- On completion of this process, a verification email will be sent to the candidate’s email account with a confirmation link, which the applicant shall have to click to confirm the registration.
- Re-login and start filling the application form.
- Enter the educational, personal details
- Upload the documents required
- Once all the files are uploaded and the application form is filled, candidates can submit their application.
- Retain a hard copy print of the application form.

- Scanned signature of the applicant (maximum size: 50 KB; Formats: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG) Self-attested copy of Identity Proof (maximum size: 50 KB, Formats: JPG/ JPEG/ PNG).
- Scanned Identity proof (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, PAN card, Voter’s identity card, Passport or College identity card).
