The course features a supportive faculty-student relationship, especially for engaged students. Internal assessments consist of two exams, each worth 50 marks, contributing to a total of 100 marks. These, along with other assessments and assignments, make up the internal marks: 30 for exams and 20 for assessments/assignments. The semester exam is also out of 100 marks, with internal and external exams equally weighted (50/50) towards the final grade, requiring a minimum score of 40 to pass. Students who fail internal exams can retake them before the semester ends, while those who fail semester exams have the chance to retake them in the next odd/even semester. The placement cell connects students with internships and job opportunities, particularly with international companies like Goldman Sachs and Deloitte. Internships often include stipends. Although the official minimum CGPA requirement is 6.5, a CGPA between 8.5 to 9 is recommended for better prospects. The selection process for top companies involves tests and interviews, with about 10 of 300 students getting selected. While the initial test is relatively easy, the interview and group discussion pose more significant challenges. The course costs approximately 1.7 lakh INR per year, with an additional fee of 10,000 INR for the ISDC in the first year. No additional fees are reported from the second year onward.
