Lords Universal College foundation was laid in 1968 in Mumbai. The college is affiliated to University of Mumbai for its degree courses. It has also received affiliation from Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education. Presently the institute has three constituent colleges- Junior, Degree and Law, offering UG and PG courses in a number of disciplines. Lords Universal College offers Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance, Banking and Insurance, Management Studies, Mass Media, Information Technology, Computer Science, Microbiology. Candidates who have passed higher secondary examinations in Science stream are eligible for admissions to B.Sc courses. For other courses, candidates must have scored minimum 45% aggregate marks in any stream in class 12th.
Admissions to Degree College under LUC will be based up on the candidate’s academic merit in the qualifying examination. Under its law faculty, LUC offers three-year LLB course for the graduates and Five-year Integrated Bachelor’s in Legal Sciences to candidates who have passed 10+2 examination. Admissions to law college will be based on candidate’s score in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH CET Law).

At postgraduate level, the college offers two-year Master’s program in Advanced Accountancy and Business Management. Admissions to both the PG courses are purely based on merit in the last qualifying examinations. Seats will be allotted based on merit list issued by the college.
