Krishna Devi Girls Degree College Campus Facilities 

The KDGD College has a vast, wonderful, and state-of-the-art campus. Ambiance is also perfect for teaching-learning and collaboration among people of different mindsets, experiences, and knowledge. Following are some of the key facilities and clubs the college has for its students and staff members.

Hi-Tech Lecture Halls: Advanced, spacious, and well-ventilated classrooms have been developed by the college on its campus. Each classroom has comfortable seating arrangements and is equipped with projectors, latest technologies, cameras, and voice recorders. It is the availability of these amenities that has made discussion and collaboration easy for students. Corridors of the KDGD also have both voice recorders and cameras installed to monitor day-to-day activities and people's movement.

Health Center: This faculty has been established to deal with any kind of health emergency related to students and staff members. Apart from primary treatment, individuals can avail of doctor consultations also.

Computer Lab: To make students digitally proficient, and help everyone in their projects, assignment and research work, a full-fledged Computer Center has been built by the institute. The latest computer systems with the required software and applications are installed here. The availability of high-speed internet connectivity further allows students to make the best use of digital learning sources.

Library: The institute has a well-developed, and wonderful Knowledge Center, also called a Library. The library has a separate reading space, and it hosts a vast collection of close to 10000 books on Ancient History, Political Science, Education, English literature, Hindi literature, Sanskrit Literature, and Physical Education. In addition, books of famous personalities and motivational speakers, followed by journals, newspapers, research papers, and other learning materials are available here. 

College is in the process of making this facility fully digitized for students so that they can access text and reference books anywhere anytime. Several Magazines like Pratiyogita Darpan, World Focus, Sarita, India Today, Kurushetra and newspapers like The Hindu, Daink Jagran, and Hindustan have been subscribed for the library.

Sports: KDGD College has big playgrounds for outdoor games like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, and Badminton, and enough arrangements for indoor games like Carrom, Chess, Ludo, and Table Tennis. Each year, a plethora of Intramural and Extramural Sports Competitions are organized by the Sports Club of the institution.

Canteen: The key objective of this facility is to provide delicious, freshly cooked, and a variety of food items and snacks to both students and staff members at an affordable cost. This is also one of the favorite hangout places of students for informal chit-chat with their peers and mentors.

Students Clubs: Following clubs have been developed by the college for the welfare, and growth of students:

• The English Literary Club: This club is responsible for conducting literacy activities including Speech, Essay Writing, Debate, Extempore, and Elocution etc. on the campus from time to time. The aim is to improve the oratory, intellectual, written, and independent thinking skills of students.

• The Road Safety Club: This club was formed by the college in 2022. And key accountability of this club is to hold different kinds of awareness events related to road safety for people. 

Research and Development Cell: To inculcate the spirit of research among students and faculty as per NEP 2020, and support them for their innovative ideas, a dedicated R&D Cell has been developed by the college on its campus. This cell also acts as a platform for creative minds to grow on both personal and professional levels. 

A wide variety of research activities, and surveys related to social and environmental issues, stress in youths, women-related issues, and Sexual harassment are conducted by the amazing people of this club throughout the year.

NSS and NCC: The college offers NCC to students under the name of 20 U.P. Girls Battalion, Lucknow. There are a total of 55 authorized seats for the Senior Wing. This facility was established on campus close to 15 years ago. The sole purpose of NCC is to develop qualities like Comradeship, Discipline, Spirit of Adventure, and selfless service in individuals and encourage them to join the Armed Forces. 

In addition, the National Service Scheme has been in college for more than 15 years. At present, there are 2 units of NSS and a total of 200 volunteers. These volunteers regularly take part in 1-7 days of camps and activities related to social welfare, literacy, and many other issues.
