The Sri Vidya Mandir College of Education, Namakkal was established in 2007. It is affiliated by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University and is self-financed college. The college offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course. The college has been recognized by National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE).
It was started by the Rasipuram Vivekananda Educational Trust [RVET] with the sole intention of imparting “A Class education” to its students, inculcating along with its curricular activities, high discipline, good conduct and above all with leadership qualities so that in future they can train their students as useful and worthy citizens to shape the modern India. It has got separate hostel for both sexes since it is a Co-Ed. College.
