Jagiroad College Admission 2024: Eligibility, Form, Dates, Selection, Merit List

Candidates can apply purchasing and filling in the form within the given time period from the College Office. Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to be deemed eligible for admission. 

Selection Process

Selection to courses at Jagiroad College is done purely on merit basis. Reservation is in accordance with the regulations of the Government of India.

• In general, selection to undergraduate courses is done purely on the basis of merit in terms of academic performance at the qualifying level. However, if there is high demand for a particular course, a screening test may be conducted by the University.
• For the post graduate diploma programme in computer Applications, a personal interview is conducted to test the aptitude of the candidate towards the course. The course is a one year programme.
• For the Master’s programme in Tourism Management, the College conducts a written test as well as interview, and the performance in this alongside the past academic performance is considered for the preparation of the final merit list.

Candidates who have been selected will be intimated about the date for admission. They must be present in person for processing the admission, and must produce original documents, alongside submitting self-attested copies, for verification. The required documents are generally:

1. Marks sheets and certificates as proof of all previous educational qualifications (examinations).
2. Transfer certificate / character certificate.
3. Age certificate (proof of age).
4. Migration certificate, if applicable.
5. Caste certificate and income certificate, if applicable.
6. Anti – ragging affidavit.
7. If the candidate has taken a gap year after the previous educational qualification, a ‘Gap Certificate’ must be produced, issued by the Head of the institution previously attended.
