Hills College of Teacher Education, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh was established under the guidance of ‘Tribal Area’s Development Society’ to provide for quality education and training in the area of professional teaching. The College offers Bachelors of Education course for the promotion of teacher education which runs for the duration of a year. The college has been striving hard to achieve a mark in the field of professional learning for enhancement of teaching skills among students. The college enthusiastically organizes researches, seminars and work- experience activities to generate and develop better learning techniques and ideas.

1. Well designed Infrastructure for student ease: The College offers the students a well-furnished classroom set-up, canteen, co-operative stores, digital library, hostel facilities for girls, in-house public bank facility, post office, medical facilities and transport facilities till the area of 2 km.

Laboratory cum art gallery: Apart from the basic infrastructure facilities, the college offers a high-tech laboratory setup that leaves an impression of being in an art gallery since student’s creative work are put to display in the laboratory and hence students are encouraged to enhance their skills.

Innovative Activities- The College supports the co-curricular activities of the students by providing them support and encouragement to participate in events such as creative writing, poem writing, best out of waste and the like conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi University of the Inter College and Interstate levels.
