Thiagarajar School of Management (TSM) offers PGDM and MBA at an affordable cost. Though both the courses are offered with high value additions, TSM places PGDM as the flagship course. Shortlisting is based on the score in CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT exams, past academic record and relevant work experience. However, the final selection is based on the performance in GD-PI-WAT process.
TSM is one of the oldest B-School located in Madurai. It is AICTE approved and has an “A” grade accreditation from NBA/NAAC. The institute is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU). Ques. Does TSM offer summer internships to students?
Ans. Yes, students are required to take a compulsory summer internship. PGDM students are required to take 3 months of internship, mainly from April-June, and MBA students must have 2 months of internship from May-June. Also, a Summer internship also provides the possibility of a pre-placement offer (PPO) and increases their placement chances.
Ques. Is it necessary for PGDM students to have work experience at TSM?
Ans. No. It is NOT mandatory or a prerequisite to have work experience for PGDM/MBA program. However, work experience after graduation (if any, after B.Tech./B.Sc./B.Com. etc.) will be given additional weightage while shortlisting students for both PGDM and MBA programs.
