SIESSBS offers admission to a Postgraduate Diploma in Management on the basis of performance in the qualifying degree. Candidates should have passed at the undergraduate level from a recognized university in order to be eligible to apply. Those shortlisted must provide all the required documents for proof of eligibility as well as submit the required fee amount for the admission to be processed completely.

SIES SBS Mumbai PGDM Selection Criteria:

The admission will be based on the marks secured in the MAH-CET followed by the counseling for allotting colleges.

Candidates seeking admission to the institute can apply by following the steps given below:

• The candidates can apply by visiting the official website of the institute.
• Fill the form with a valid email id and contact number.
• Submit all the mandatory documents.
• Pay the admission fees of INR 2000 through online mode.

Offline: 

• The candidates can apply by visiting the institute.
• Fill out the form with valid details.
• Submit all the mandatory documents at the reception.
• Pay the admission fees of INR 2000 at the reception.

Note(s): 

• If a student is applying for more than one program, the application fees will be INR 3000 for regular registration and INR 3500 for late registration.
• *PGDM (Pharma and Biotech) would be considered as one program for the purpose of application fee. Therefore if the student applied for PGDM-Pharmaceutical Management & PGDM Biotechnology, he/she has to pay application fees of INR 2000 and late fees (if any) of INR 2500 only.

Admission Process

The admission process at SIESSBS involves the following 3 steps:

• Group Discussion (GD)
• Personal Interview (PI)
• Essay Writing

Group Discussion: The GD assesses 3 broad parameters: Communication Skills, Team Orientation and Logical Reasoning. Using data and examples to substantiate the students’ viewpoint is appreciated by the assessors.

Personal Interview: The students undergo a PI where the emphasis is on understanding the students’ personality, his/her orientation towards the management field, the students’ overall attitude and general awareness.

Essay Writing: Since communication is the key to everything in the management field, the students’ communication skills, their awareness of fundamental issues and their analytical ability are also evaluated through an essay that the students write as a part of the admission process.

Reservation Criteria

SIESSBS is a Tamil Linguistic Minority Institute. Hence 51% of seats of all programs are reserved for Maharashtra domiciled students with ‘Tamil’ as the mother tongue. However, if the adequate number of qualified candidates is not available from the above category, such seats are made open to general candidates.
