Shri Shikshayatan College Admission 2024: UG, PG, Courses, Eligibility, Application Process, Last Date To Apply

Shri Shikshayatan College offers BA, B.Sc., B.Com, B.Ed, BBA and BA JMC courses at UG level.

The basic eligibility criterion to take admission in any of these UG courses requires a 10+2 pass in the relevant subjects from a recognized board. For B.Ed., candidate must have passed MA/M.Sc. or BA (Hons)/ B.Sc. (Hons) with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Selection to UG courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Admission to B.Ed. is done on the basis of Communication Skill Test.

Key Points:

• B.Com in Accounting & Financing is offered in Morning as well as Evening shifts while B.Com in Marketing is only available for Evening shift.
• BA (Journalism & Mass Communication) and BBA (H) programs are offered under Self-Financed scheme.
• The candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories are required to have a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
• The candidates appeared in the final year of the qualifying examinations are also eligible for admission on provisional basis.
• Relaxation of 5% marks is given to SC/ST for BBA program.

Shri Shikshayatan College offers a two-year MA (English) program only for female candidates in recognition with University of Calcutta and M.Com program. Minimum eligibility is pass in BA (Hons.) from Calcutta University or another university with 50% marks in aggregate. For M.Com, candidate must have passed B.Com (Hons) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Selection is based on merit in the qualifying exam followed by PI.

Key Points:

• Those students who have passed Major or Honours course in Arts with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from IGNOU or NSOU are also eligible to apply.
• Candidates from CU are required to obtain minimum 40% marks in aggregate.
• These programs are offered under Self-Financed scheme.

The candidates seeking admission must register online by visiting the official website of the college. Application fees must be paid online via debit card/credit card/net banking.

• Create a login ID and password with the valid mobile number and e-mail ID.
• Choose ‘Apply for New Course’ on the left side of menu bar and fill the application form.
• Pay the Application fees of INR 1000 through debit card/credit card or net banking.
• Check your payment status for online payment and then upload documents and photograph.
• Check your data and submit it.

1. Scanned original marks sheet and passing certificate of 10^th and 10+2.
2. Scanned original marks sheet and degree of graduation
3. Admit card of 10+2
4. Scanned image of signature (full signature in running hand)
5. Scanned original caste certificate issued by WB govt., if applicable
6. Scanned PH Certificate, if applicable
7. Coloured passport size photograph
