The best thing I like about the feeling of being a part of this college.
The best college of commerce and also known as heaven of education
Campus is also very good so this is the best commerce college
Faculties are awesome and extremely supportive at the end of day every student finds for a good reputed college and Goenka college of commerce and business administration is already known as Heaven of Education
The placement opportunity is good in our college because not every B.Com Honours college gives placement.
Friends: You will get an ample amount of good friends in this college
Library has quite a good stock of books for the students.

Dislike

The worst thing is that the scholarships are offered only to State Board students, which is a very disappointing thing.
There is a small garden in front of the college, as well as a small ground there.
There is no hostel facility in our college. One has to avail themselves of paying guest facilities to stay. This is one negative and disappointing aspect of our college. However, there are many paying guests near our college.
If its about overall, then I must say no other college can compete with my college. However, there are some negative points. They must follow routines strictly, as most of the time teachers dont come to class, which becomes annoying.

I chose B.Com(Hons)to get an understanding of the different aspects of accounting, taxation, and finance. The student-faculty ratio is approximately 1:25. The faculties are highly qualified and have a decent style of teaching making the students learn all the concepts easily.

Faculties are good.(if you're a Bengali you'll love them). Most of them speak Bengali only so sometimes it is difficult to understand but although it's perfectly fine to go to college . There are only semester exams and internal exams.

Brief Intro About The Heaven Of Education.

In recent times the number of placements are quite less. Deloitte, standard chartered came in our college during placements. Most of the students in our college prepare for professional degrees, so the percentage of students sitting for job interviews are quite less.

Intership opportunities are available from the third semester. Campus placements happen in the fifth and sixth semesters. Very few companies visit for campus placements and around 20 students only get placed. The reason for low campus placement is also that students after B.Com want to pursue other professional courses like CA, CS, CMA or MCOM.

Fair experiences

From the fifth semester the students appear for interviews for campus recruitment or placement. The average package is about 600000/- per annum. Companies like TCS and other organisations provide placements in our college. However I haven't appeared for interviews yet as the fifth semester has just begun.
