Candidates can obtain the Application Form in person from the 60 centres (detailed on Anna University’s official website) by paying Rs.500/-(Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu, on production of a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) towards application fee, by cash/demand draft.

Application Forms can also be obtained by post from "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University, Chennai-600025" by sending a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.700/- (Rs.450/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu with a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) and an address label written in capital letters to which the application form is to be mailed

The candidates can also register through internet by logging on to www.annauniv.edu/tnea2015; the procedure for registration is available in the website. All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions” payable at Chennai, drawn on any Nationalised Bank dated on or after 05th May 2015

Candidates are instructed to write the name and address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft

Sri Sairam Engineering College offers a full-time B.E course for a duration of 2 years. The program is offered in 3 specializations i.e.

1. Computer Science and Engineering
2. Electrical and Electronic Engineering
3. Civil Engineering

Eligibility:

Candidates should have passed 10+2 with 45% (General)/ 40% (Reserved) in science stream with PCM from a recognised board for are eligible for B.E Admissions. 

Selection Criteria:

Selection will be done on the basis of merit of marks in 10+2 and TNEA counseling cut off marks for courses. The cut off for B.E program goes up to 189-193.

To be eligible for TNEA counseling, following candidates are eligible: 

• Students from Tamil Nadu with 10+2 can apply.
• Children of army personnel and other government employees in Tamil Nadu can apply.
• Candidates should have qualified science stream in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
• A score of 50% for general category, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST is required in PCM.
• The minimum of students should be 18 and maximum should be 25 to apply.

How to Apply for BE in Sri Sairam Engineering College?

Application can be made on the official TNEA website by paying INR 500 for general category and Rs 250 for Reserved category.

Students are advised to follow the following steps for admission registration-

• Register themselves online by providing email, board of study and password.
• The registration should be made through the 'Sri Sairam Engineering College online registration portal' after reading the information brochure provided by the college.
• After filling in personal and academic information candidates should pay the application fee of INR 250(reserved)/INR 500( general) and submit the form.
