There are eight specializations under the B.Tech course offered by SCOE. Interested candidates should have passed 10+2 with 50% marks aggregate. For selection, they have to take the MHT-CET or the JEE-Main. The total student intake is 960. The civil engineering, computer engineering and electronics and telecommunication engineering branches are available in the second shift.

How to apply for JEE- Main?

• Visit the official website of JEE- Main
• Register for the online application form
• Make a note of the system-generated application number
• Create a password l Log in again and fill out the form
• Upload scanned images of photographs and signature
• A fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Paytm.
• Keep a printout of the application form for future use.

How to Apply for MHT- CET?

Candidates enrolling for B Tech course have to sit the MHT- CET. For filling the application form, follow the steps given below:

• Fill out the online application form at DTE website.
• Upload scanned copies of necessary papers.
• A fee of 800 INR (600 INR for reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
• Keep a print of the form for verification.

Maharashtra B.Tech CAP Counselling

CAP registration

65% of the seats are reserved for MHT-CET candidates (that is, residents of Maharashtra). The rest is reserved for JEE-Main takers. Students who qualify the entrance examination will have to go for a Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

• l Keep a printout of the application form. It will be needed for verification at the facilitation centre.

The institute offers 14 specializations under the M.Tech course. Aspirants may apply if they have a B.Tech degree in the relevant field. For selection, eligible candidates have to sit the GATE. The M.Tech course has a total of 296 seats.

How to apply for GATE?

Candidates enrolling for the M.Tech course have to take the GATE. Following are the steps for applying for GATE:

• Visit the official website
• Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID and mobile number.
• After the form is submitted, an enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
• Fill out the application form.
• A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
• Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.

Those who qualify the GATE will be required to undergo counselling via CAP:

SCOE provides one specialization under its MBA course. Candidates interested in applying should have a Bachelor’s degree in any field, with 50% marks. They must take the CAT, MAT or MAH-CET followed by an interview conducted by PUMBA to be selected.

How to apply for MAH-CET?

Candidates who wish to study MBA at SCOE have to take the MAH-CET for admission. The steps to register for the entrance test are given below:

• Visit the official website.
• Access the application form by clicking on the provided link
• Go to “Apply online”
• Read the instructions and click “Apply Now”
• After submitting the required details, the application number of the candidate will be created.
• Upload scanned photograph and signature
• Fill out the form
• A fee of 1,000 INR will be charged for general applicants, which is to be paid online.
• For verification and confirmation of form for admission, you must visit the designated facilitation centre on the given date.
• NRI/PIO/OCI/CIWGC/FN candidates should send the print of online-filled and submitted application form and copy of uploaded documents by hand or courier to the ‘Director, College of Engineering, Wellesley Road, Shivajinagar, Pune- 411005’.

How to Apply for CAT?

Candidates who wish to enrol for the MBA course have to take the CAT. The steps to apply for the test are given below:

• Visit the official website.
• Click on “Registration” for new users.
• Read the given instructions.
• Fill in the necessary details to generate OTP.
• Enter the OTP and validate it.
• Check ‘I Agree’ and submit the CAT application form.
• After submitting the details, a message will be sent to the registered mobile number containing the password, and an email will be sent containing the user ID.
• After the registration is complete, a unique login ID and password will be generated.
• Click on ‘Go to Application Form’ to fill out the CAT application form.

How to Apply for MAT?

 Candidates who wish to enrol for the MBA course at SCOE may take the MAT. The steps for applying for the test are listed underneath:

• Visit the official website.
• Click on ‘fresh candidate’.
• Fill in the details to create a Login. You must have a valid email ID for applying online.
• You will receive a confirmation for registration on your email ID.
• Login with the registered ID and complete the MAT application form.
• Fill out the details.
• Save the details by click on ‘Save’
• Upload a recent passport size photograph and signature.
• Pay the fee online via debit card, credit card, Net banking or Paytm. The fee for one examination is 1,550 INR. For two examinations it is 2,650 INR.

How to Apply for Counselling (CAP):

• Candidates who have appeared for MAH-CET/MAT/CAT will be able to directly login through their registration details
• The counselling fee is INR 2,000 for general category candidates.
• The admission and seat allotment process for MAH-CET is conducted through CAP.
• Candidates are required to submit the online application at designated centres on pre-notified dates.

Candidates can fill their choice of institutes and courses in decreasing order of preference.

The institute invites PhD applicants for four courses, with an intake of eight applicants per guide. To be eligible to pursue a PhD at SCOE, an M.Tech degree is mandatory. For selection, the candidate has to take either the GATE or the UGC NET.
