SVS College of Engineering (SVSCE), Coimbatore Admission 2024: Cut Off, Eligibility, Registration Process

SVS College of Engineering (SVSCE) is affiliated to Anna University. The college follows the admission guidelines set by Anna University. 

There are courses like B.E, M.E and Ph.D. that are offered at SVS College of Engineering for admission to aspiring students. The admissions are either entrance-based and/or based on merit followed by state counselling. Applications for entrances are available online on their respective websites.

Admission to B.E is offered to those students who have pursued their HSC from Tamil Nadu only. Applications are made through TNEA and admissions are offered on the basis of merit.

M.E admissions are offered to those students who qualify either TANCET or GATE. The students are eligible if they have 50% in B.E/B.Tech in a relevant discipline of study. Applications are accepted through TANCA, for both admissions and counselling.

Ph.D. admissions are offered on the basis of UGC-NET/JRF scores followed by an interview for direct admission. Students who are not NET/JRF qualified are called for an internal test based on their scores in M.E/M.Tech. 

On qualifying the internal entrance, the applicant will be called for a group discussion followed by personal interview. Applications can be submitted offline at the SVSCE campus.

For the recent placement drive at SVSCE around 37 companies offered 357 offers to students. The highest package being 9 LPA and the average being 3.2 LPA.

B.E Eligibility

How to register?

• Candidates have to register through online mode at the Web portal.
• They must enter an active mobile number and email ID.
• Enter relevant personal and educational details 
• Choose the save/submit button.
• Preview the forms and make changes, if required.
• Finally, click submit and save button to make an online fee payment.

Documents Required

Candidates have to upload scanned images of the following given documents while registering for TANCA counselling: 

• Mark sheets of X, XII or Diploma (3 years) Certificate
• Qualifying Degree certificate, provisional certificate and mark sheets of all semesters or Consolidated mark sheet. 
• Transfer certificate from the institution last studied
• Valid GATE scorecard and TANCET hall ticket for GATE qualified category
• Certificate of Disability
• Nativity Certificate only in electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate. (if applicable)
• Copy of identification certificate obtained from the Head Quarters Tahsildar or Visa, Passport and letter registered in Police Station (For Srilankan Refugee candidates)
• Experience Certificate (if applicable)

How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id.

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.
