SGT Institute of Engineering and Technology, Gurgaon Admission 2023: Admission schedule, Application process

SGT Institute of Engineering and Technology offers B.Tech degree at the UG level in 5 specializations, with a total intake of 420 students.

Candidates who have completed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Computer Science / Information Science / Bio-Technology / Biology as an optional subject, with 45% marks are eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed Diploma with 45% marks are eligible to apply for the second year of B.Tech through Lateral Entry.

B.Tech admission will be done on the basis of JEE Main score. B.Tech Lateral Entry seats will be allotted on the basis of LEET scores. Counselling process for both will be conducted by HSTES.

• Candidates who have completed B.Sc. degree are also eligible to apply.
• Diploma and B.Sc. degree should be of minimum 3-year duration.
• For Lateral Entry admissions, Diploma applicants will be given preference over B.Sc. applicants.
• Candidates should be minimum 17 years of age to apply.

SGT Institute offers M.Tech at the PG level in 3 specializations and has a total intake of 60 students. Candidates who have a BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc degree are eligible to apply.

M.Tech seats will be allotted on the basis of performance in GATE through counselling process conducted by MDU, Rohtak.

• Candidates who have attempted their final year examination for their Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply.
• Applicants who are awaiting results of their final year degree examinations will be granted admission only upon fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
