RGIPT Rae Bareli M.Tech Admission 2024: Application Form, Placement, Cut Off

RGIPT offers admission to M.Tech courses in two specifications which are Petroleum Engineering and Chemical Engineering. Duration of course is 2 years. RGIPT provides 20 seats each in both specifications.

Basic eligibility for candidates to apply is a valid GATE Score. The application process is online but form filling will start 24 hours after submission of application fee. The application fee can be paid by online mode or by bank challan system. Read More: RGIPT Admission

RGIPT Rae Bareli M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for admission will be set up by the institute. Candidate must check the eligibility criteria to apply for entrance exam. The criteria set up are as follows:

• Petroleum Engineering: 4-years B.Tech/B.E. degree in Petroleum Engineering with a first class or minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (55% marks or 5.58 CPI for SC/ST students) in the qualifying exam.
• Chemical Engineering: A 4-year B. Tech/B.E. degree in Chemical or Petrochemical Engineering with a first class or minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (55% marks or 5.58 CIP for SC/ST students) in the qualifying exam.
• For both specifications, candidates need to have a valid GATE Score.

RGIPT Rae Bareli M.Tech Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test and interview. Final selection of candidates will be based on the performance in written test, interview, GATE Score and previous academic performance taken together.

All selected General/OBC candidates called for written test and interview will be reimbursed to and fro fare of sleeper class by shortest route after joining respective programs. However, SC/ST/PH candidates called for the written test and interview will be reimbursed to and fro fare of sleeper class by shortest route at the time of interview.

Note: Candidates need to produce Railway/Bus ticket for the claim.

Documents required at the time of Interview

The list of important documents which a candidate must carry at time of interview for verification of details are as follows:

• GATE Score card copy, attested with original
• Class 10^th and 12^th certificates and marksheets copies with original
• Graduation marksheet copies with original
• Work experience certificate (if any)
• Caste certificate copies with original such as SC/ST/PH

RGIPT Rae Bareli M.Tech Application Process

Application form must be submitted on or before the last date. Candidates need to pay the application fee prior to application form filling process. After 24 hours of successful submission of application fee, application form can be filled in. The steps of application process are as follows:

• Step 1: Student Login-After fee submission wait for 24 hours and then click on ‘Apply online Application form’ and then ‘Student Login’ page will open. After filling the fields, click ‘Submit’ and you will be navigated to Registration page.
• Step 2: Registration Page-Here candidate need to fill in all the required information. Candidates need to upload scanned signature, photograph, and valid GATE Score.
• Step 3: Form Preview Page-Filled-in application form will be viewed here by the candidates for verification of details. After verification, candidates need to click on ‘Final Submit’. A SMS will be delivered and you will be navigated to Form Completion page.
• Step 4: Form Completion Page-Candidates need to note down the RGIPT Registration number for future use and click on ‘Click here to print your application form’ link to move to printing process.

Documents required

Documents required to be uploaded at the time of form filling are as follows:

• Scanned Signature in JPEG Format and size not more than 50 KB.
• Scanned recent photograph in JPEG format and size not more than 50 KB.
• Scanned GATE Scorecard.

Application Fee

Candidates need to pay the application fee before filling the application form. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Payment of application fee must be made through online mode or bank challan system (SBI & associate bank only).

For general and OBC candidates INR 400 must be paid whereas INR 200 for SC, ST and PH candidates.
