Government College of Engineering (GCE), Keonjhar, Orissa, formerly known as Orissa School of Mining Engineering, is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela. The college was originally established in the year 1956 as a diploma institute and degree streams were added only in 1995.

GCE Keonjhar B.Tech Admission 2023
Government College of Engineering, Kendujhar, offers B. Tech programs in 5 disciplines. The minimum eligibility criteria are 45% marks in 10+2 in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects and any of the following additional subjects – Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Electronics, C.S., Statistics, Geology or any technical vocational subject.
Selection of candidates is done on the basis of marks/ rank secured by the applicant inJee Main. For layeral Entry, admissions are done on the basis of OJEE, which is followed by a counselling session conducted on a state level. A final merit list of the candidates is declared after counselling. - Provision for Lateral entry in B. Tech. third semester (second year) for Engineering Diploma holders or B.Sc. Graduates with Mathematics as one of the subject at XII standard.
- The minimum qualifying percentile of marks in 10+2 for reserved category candidates is 40%.

GCE Keonjhar Application Process
Candidates can apply for OJEE only through ‘online’ mode. The application form and information brochure can be downloaded from OJEE website. Candidates must fill the application form accordingly. Scanned copies of passport size photograph, signature and thumb impression are required at the time of filling the application form.
Payment of application fee can be made online via debit/credit card or internet banking and offline through e-Challan or deposit in OJEE bank account (SBI Collect).

Candidates must furnish only correct and authentic details while filling the application form. Upon successful submission of the form, a unique Registration Number is generated. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form. Multiple applications for a particular stream or in multiple streams of a candidate are liable to be rejected.
