The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Aurangabad is an AICTE-approved government institute. It offers three courses across three streams, namely, B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD. There is also a provision for lateral entry to B.Tech.
For admission to B.Tech, a candidate should have passed 10+2 in the Science stream with 45% marks. For selection, it is essential that the candidate take the JEE Main. For lateral candidates, a three-year diploma in Electronics and allied streams is required. Selection is based on merit.
