Malwa Institute of Technology (MIT) offers Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree program in seven different specializations. The duration of all B.E. courses is four years. The total number of seats allocated for the B.E. program is 600.

Candidates aspiring to seek admission to the B.E. program must have passed the 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission to the B.E. program is done on the basis of rank secured by candidates in National level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) Conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Admission to the M.Tech program is done on the basis of merit in National level GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering) examination conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Science (IISC) and Indian Institutes of Engineering (IITs).

However, aspiring candidates must hold a Graduation degree in a relevant branch of Engineering or Technology to be considered eligible to take part in the admission process.
