Aeronautical Engineering and Research Organization (AERO) was established on March 2008, Registered as Charitable Trust vide Registration No. F-9150/20/10/2003 under Society Registration Act 1860 (Rule 21 of 1860 Act).
Aeronautical Engineering and Research Organization Scholarship – Common Entrance Test (AERO-CET) is aimed at extending financial support in the form of a Merit-Based Scholarship to meritorious students for various technical programs in aviation like Aerospace, Aeronautical, Avionics and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering with Degree in Aeronautics & Short Term Aviation Programs.
AERO–CET is aimed at providing a single platform for eligibility tests as well as a Merit-Based Scholarship for all students for various Aviation Courses offered by the participating Institutes of AERO-CET 2023. The AERO-CET is being conducted twice a year in the month of May & July respectively.

Note 1: The scholarship amount will be credited to the respective institute in equal installments distributed over the duration of the selected program on a yearly basis upon fulfilling the academic requirements as stated by the respective department/ Institute/ Regulatory Authorities/ University. This condition is applicable for all the scholarship categories as specified above.
Note 2: Candidates fulfilling Special Scholarship and Sports Scholarship criteria are exempted from AERO-CET Examination.
