Eastern Academy of Science and Technology (EAST) was established in the year 2001. EAST has been approved by the AICTE, recognized by the Government of Odisha, and is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela.

The institute offers diploma, bachelor and master's Degree to the students who want to pursue their career in the field of Engineering.

Admission to all degree programs is through the State conducted, Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE). Students with Diploma qualification are also inducted into the Bachelor’s degree program in the second year of study through OJEE.

At undergraduate level, Eastern Academy of Science and Technology provides Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and B.Tech (Lateral) to the candidates who wish to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The courses are offered for four years and three years respectively.

At first students needs to pass their 10+2 level or equivalent in concerned subjects with minimum required marks set by the college. The eligible candidates are then required to appear in Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) conducted by State Government in order to get admission in B.Tech.

Students get admission in B.Tech (Lateral) on the basis of marks scored in Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE).

Eastern Academy of Science and Technology M.Tech Admission 2023

Master of Technology (M.Tech) is also offered by the college at postgraduate level. The college offers this course in four different specializations for a duration of two years.

Candidates who are willing to take up Master of Technology (M.Tech), will have to appear in Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) conducted by the State Government. However, candidates must hold Graduate Degree in relevant discipline in order to meet the eligibility criteria.
