The selection at DBIT, Kurla is based on the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the DTE of Maharashtra. Candidates must appear for the MH-CET and based on their performance on the test, candidates are assigned colleges in the counseling. Thus, those aspiring to apply at DBIT must secure an appropriate rank in order to be able to apply at DBIT through counseling. They can also apply through JEE Mains counselling.
Selection for the MMS course, the selection is based on merit, i.e. on the score and rank obtained on a centralized entrance exam like CAT/CMAT, thus aspirants must have a high score in such exams in order to be selected.
For B.Tech:

Ans. No, it is not necessary to be a Roman Catholic in order to attend DBIT, 49% of all seats are unreserved and are available to all candidates through Maharashtra CAP.
