Aizawl Theological College Admissions 2023, Fees Structure, Entrance Exam, Notification

The college offers a variety of undergraduate programmes in the field of theology to the eligible candidates. The programmes available under UG courses are, Bachelor of Divinity (BD), Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) and Bachelor of Christian Studies (BCS). Apart from these courses, candidates can apply for Diploma in Clinical Pastoral Counselling as well. The course duration of BD and B.Th. is 4 years, while DCPC can be obtained in 1 years’ time.

The eligibility conditions to get admission to the above mentioned programmes is as follows:

The selection of the candidates will be based on the entrance test conducted by the authorities of ATC. The entrance test will have questions related to bible knowledge, general knowledge and English. Candidates passing the entrance test will be called for the interviews which will be conducted by the Faculty and Theological Education Board of Mizoram Presbyterian Church Synod.

The selected candidates will then be called to the college head office to complete the admission formalities along with the original required documents for the purpose of verification.

Aizawl Theological College offers a master’s course in the field of Theology to the eligible candidates. The duration of M.Th. course is 2 years. The six disciplines included in M.Th. programme are as follows:

• Old testament
• New testament
• Christian Theology
• History of Christianity
• Religions
• Missiology

The eligibility criteria followed by ATC for M.Th. programme is as follows:

The admission to any of the six disciplines of M.Th. programme will be granted on the basis of entrance test and Interview session. The candidates will be required to write an entrance test in English and the subject of their specialization. Those who qualify in the entrance test will be called for interview session. The final list of selected students will be notifies. Shortlisted candidates must go for the admission process completion to the college office.

Candidates can pursue Masters in Christian Studies as well, details for which can be obtained from The Registrar, Senate of Serampore College, Serampore- 712 201, Dist. Hoogly, West Bengal, India.

A doctoral degree in the field of Theology can be obtained from Aizawl Theological College. The programme is a four year residential doctoral course. The specializations covered under this programme are, Christian Theology, New Testament and Missiology.

The eligibility requirement for this programme is as follows:

Candidates will have to appear for Common Entrance Test (CET) and they have to undertake Research Methodology course by the SATHRI under Senate of Serampore College. Thereafter, they will have to appear for interview session and the shortlisted candidates will be called for completing the admission process.
