ARCET Tamil Nadu Admission 2024: B.E, M.E, Selection Process, Dates

A.R College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2009 and is situated at Kadayam, near Kuttalam in Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. It is a private institute affiliated to Anna University Chennai. A R College of Engineering and Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

A R College of Engineering and Technology offers an undergraduate program of engineering in 7 different branches. Admission to B.E. is done through counseling of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission conducted by Anna University, it is merit-based counseling.

ARCET also offers M.E. in 5 different streams at PG level, for securing admission in M.Tech program; candidates need to have a valid score in TANCET/GATE.

Students interested to take admission in the institute can go through counseling procedures in the respective courses as per eligibility criteria and score obtained in Entrance Examination. During the counseling, final seats will be allotted for admission.

Candidates can also take direct admission under management quota, for which they have to fill the application form offline or online by paying the relevant fees.

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
• Aspirant should have completed a minimum of 55% marks in PCM (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry).

A R College of Engineering and Technology B.Tech Selection Criteria

• Candidates, who have registered on Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2021, have to wait for the merit list.
• The final admission is only through the counseling process based on the rank obtained in the 12th exam.
• The university itself scrutinizes the application forms.
• The university publishes a merit/rank list after studying all the application forms.
• Candidates will have to select the college during the counseling.
• Selected candidates will be informed through a call and they need to report at the college for admission along with their documents.

A R College of Engineering and Technology offers a full time M.Tech program for a duration of 2 years. The program is offered in the following specializations:

• Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent degree in relevant branch of engineering with minimum 50% marks from any recognized university.
• Candidates must have qualified Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2021 conducted by Anna University.

A R College of Engineering and Technology M.Tech Selection Process:

• Admission is through a counseling process based on the rank obtained in TANCET Exam 2021.
• Candidates have to select the college at the time of counseling.
• Based on the rank obtained and college selected, seat allotment will be done
• Selected candidates will be informed through a call.
• All the selected candidates need to report at the college for further admission process along with valid documents.
• Students who have qualified GATE exam are provided direct admission in A R College of Engineering and Technology for the M.E. course.

The application process for all the courses offered by college will be done through the counseling process; Applicants need to follow a sequence of steps to apply for the desired course is listed below:

3. Again click on Application Form Tab.
4. Here you have the option to download the application form or apply online.
5. Download and take a printout of the same and fill the form with all the essential details.
6. Also, affix a recent passport size photo.
7. Finally, send the duly filled application form along with the required documents to the college. Or you can apply online by filling the required details.
