Maharaja Nursing College of Tamil Nadu was established by the Maharani Educational & Charitable Trust, Dharapuram, which runs various institutions. It was established with the aim of providing holistic nursing and healthcare education to the students. It also aims to prepare students to become professional nurses who will be adequately equipped to render quality nursing care in any healthcare setting. This program will enable the students to learn the basic concepts and principles of nursing, understand the normal structure and functioning of the human body system and find out any abnormalities in it, demonstrate competence in all the nursing procedures as required in various hospitals, evaluate continuously the care given and make rational decisions.

State-of-the-art facilities –The College has a well-furnished library that consists of many national and international nursing books and journals and also has internet facilities for references within the library. The college has well-equipped laboratories in various departments. For example, the medical, surgical nursing lab is equipped with adequate adult human articulated skeletons, disarticulated human skeletons and specimens for the quality learning. The maternity nursing lab is equipped with modernized dummies, models of various stages of labor and instruments for the effective learning.
