Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH), Chennai Admission 2023 (Open): Dates, Courses, Eligibility, Selection Criteria, Application Process

Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital offers MBBS program with one-year of compulsory internship. Students passed in 10+2 with PCB with at least 50% marks are eligible to apply. A valid score in NEET-UG is required for admission followed by counselling for admission to MBBS program. 

For B.Sc. in Alled Health Science course, candidate must have passed HSC examination in Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany, Zoology and English individually or any other equivalent subjects. Selection will be done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. 

Key Points:

• NEET is pre-requisite to pursue MBBS course form SBMCH, Chennai.
• Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December.
• Candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC Categories will be given a relaxation of 10% marks in the qualifying examination.
• The duration of MBBS degree is 4 ½ years + one-year of the internship.

SBMCH offers MD & MS programs at PG level for the duration of three years. The minimum eligibility is MBBS degree recognized by MCI. NEET PG qualified candidates are eligible for admission to these courses.

SBMCH also offers DM and M.Ch courses under super-specialty division. NEET SS qualified candidates are eligible to apply for these courses.
