Eligibility Criteria
An aspirant should meet the following eligibility criteria for full-time MBBS:
- 10+2 pattern or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) or Biotechnology and English with 50% in Science subjects (40% marks by BC/SC/ST and 45% marks by OC PH).
- 17 years of age by December of the year of admission.
- Candidates must have a valid score in NEET UG.
Selection Process
The selection process of MBBS at KMC is as follows:
- Selection is done purely on the basis of merit.
- The interested candidate needs to sit for NEET UG.
- NEET UG is a national level exam conducted annually for undergraduate students. It is an offline (pen and paper) exam of a duration of 3 hours with 180 MCQ and non-MCQ questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
- Cut-off of NEET score card is declared by the selection board according to which students are admitted into the college.
- Students are admitted through All India Medical Counselling as All India quota 15% and remaining through Andhra Pradesh State Medical Counselling as State quota 85%.
