D.K.M College for Women - [DKM], Vellore

Dhanabagiyam Krishnaswamy Mudaliar College for Women, an autonomous college was established in 1972. It is functioning under Vellore Vallal N.Krishnaswamy Mudaliar Charitable trust, Vellore, and is working from the beginning for Academic excellence. It is affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University. The college offers vocational courses and extension services. The institution has been accredited by NAAC with B grade and it is recognized by UGC.

Placement

The placement cell conducted various awareness programs in the form of lectures and counseling programs for the benefit of the students. Nearly 7 companies conducted campus interviews, approximately 10 students were selected.

The Central Library comprises of 26825 books in Day College and 4834 books in Evening College and it also comprises of 28 Journals, 11 free e-journals, 8 Magazines, 179 Theses, 79 Projects, 211 Book Bank, 2000 Back Volumes and other non-materials like 351 DVD & CD.
