Government Medical College, Bhavnagar offers PG Diploma courses in 25 specializations at the postgraduate level.
Candidates who have passed MBBS from any Medical college which is recognized by the medical council of India. Candidates should have completed his/her rotating internship for one year after passing the MBBS examination on or before January 1 of the year of admission shall be eligible to apply.
Candidates must have got themselves registered (Provisional or Permanent) with any Medical Council (State or Central) to be eligible.
Seats will be filled up by the Admission Committee on the basis of the performance in the MBBS program and Interview except seats to be filled up by the office of DGHS, Government of India. Bhavnagar Medical College Selection Process 2022
On the basis of NEET UG/PG scores, a merit list of NEET UG/PG will be prepared.
- As per the rank, NEET UG/PG counselling is conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), for 50% All India Quota seats reserved for all government medical and dental colleges in India.
- The remaining 50% state quota seats will be filled through common counselling conducted by designated authority of respective states.
- Candidates whose names are forwarded by DGHS, after counselling, are required to report to the Director, Government Medical College, Bhavnagar.
- The Director of GMC, Bhavnagar will verify the documents.
- After his satisfaction, he shall direct candidates to deposit all required fees etc., immediately.
