Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, known as AIMSR is located in Bathinda, Punjab and is a constituent college established under the Government of Punjab in 2005. The admission procedure at AIMSR is conducted in online mode. AIMSR offers admission to the MBBS program on the basis of the candidate’s performance in NEET UG. Admission to MD/MS programs is based on NEET PG scores. After qualifying for the respective examinations, the candidates need to register for the All India and State Counselling Process conducted by MCC and Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Punjab respectively. AIMSR offers admission to 15% of MBBS and 50% of MD/MS seats through the All-India Quota. The candidates can also be admitted through State Quota in 85% of MBBS and 50% of MD/MS seats in Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences.
To apply for the All India Quota Counselling follow the steps given below.
After declaration of the result of the online counselling by admission committee for MBBS in AIMSR, the candidates are required to deposit Rs 4000/- (Rs. 3000/- in case of SC Candidates) in the form of cash at the University counter or in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Adesh University on any scheduled/nationalized bank payable at Bathinda on the day of joining at Adesh Institute of Medical Sciences and Research. Students are also required to carry an original and one set of self-attested copies of the certificates/documents.

AIMSR cut-off is prescribed by MCC and BFUHS, Punjab. The merit list is based on these cut-off scores and the candidates who wish to apply for the institute have to clear the cut-off for different courses.
