Candidates must have passed 45% marks in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subjects to be eligible. Those with a Diploma in Pharmacy with 45% marks can apply for B.Pharm Lateral Entry.
Admission is done on the basis of marks MHT CET added together with the non-zero scores in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology.

Y B Chavan College offers Ph.D. in 4 specializations. Candidates with a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks can apply.
Admission to Ph.D. is done through a two-stage process. In the first stage, the candidates are shortlisted on the basis of merit in PET conducted by BAMU. The shortlisted candidates are then called for an interview /viva–voce, where they are required to discuss their research interests/area through a presentation before a duly constituted Departmental Research Committee (DRC). Final selection is done on the basis of marks secured in PET and performance in the interview round.
