Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Completion of a master’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution
- Minimum grade point average (GPA) or equivalent of 3.33/4.33 (B+)
- Three letters of recommendation
- Provide a statement of intent. Applicants statement should be approximately 500 words long and must include, in the first three lines:
- The names of any potential Supervisors or faculty members in the program with whom they might like to work;
- Their proposed areas of research;
- Any sources of funding that they hold or have applied for to support their graduate studies (scholarships, fellowships, grants, awards, self-funding, etc.).
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, completed Masters (General) degree with 60% from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

- OUAC Application Form: Students have to fill and submit the online application form.
- CV/Resume: Outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and/or volunteer experience.
- Two academic or professional references: Referees (Teachers, guidance counselors, or Professors) should comment on academics and that references should submit along with the application system.
- Statement of Intent: Reasons or intentions for pursuing studies in this program, including a description of prior experience.
- Other bachelor's Degrees: Foundation courses will be required, exemptions are based on courses taken during a UG degree.
- Two Letter of Recommendation: Reference letters are a key component of the application package depending on the program student are applying for research and/or professional abilities.
- Electronic Official transcripts: Submit copies of official transcripts from post-secondary institutions attended in PDF format.
- Statement of Interest: Student has to fill their interesting research work area in the application form.
- Interview: After the submission of the student’s application, they will be contacted to complete an online video interview.
