Important Dates
- McMaster University offers an MBA for a duration of 20 months, including an optional four-month paid summer internship
- It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
- The university offers different MBA programs such as:
- Full-time MBA – 20 months (less than 7 years of work experience)
- Full-time MBA (with co-op) – 28 months (less than 4 years of work experience)
- Accelerated MBA – 8 months to 2 years (1 year of work experience)
- Blended Learning (Part-time) - 36 months (4 to 8 years of work experience)
- Executive MBA – 14 months (more than 10 years of work experience)
- Students who opt to take MBA courses during the summer break, selecting from a limited number of courses, may be able to complete the program within 16 months’ time.
- In the first-year students will be in class from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Fridays, and some weekends, will be reserved for networking, career advancement, and professional development activities.

- Students in the MBA program currently average four years of work experience.
- The scholarship is provided to the students in the range from 750 USD to 7,500 USD and can also apply for some additional scholarships like Entrance Scholarship and In-Course Scholarships.

- Job opportunities after MBA are Relationship Manager, Marketing Manager, etc and the average salary goes up to 73,800 USD.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Qualification:
- Students must have a bachelor's degree in a related field from a recognized university.
- The related fields include a UG degree in Marketing, Finance, Arts, Science, Government, Education, Manufacturing.
- Students required a competitive GPA in the final 2 years of the undergraduate degree.
- Students required a B average (73-76%, or 3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale) in the final 2 years to be competitive.
Work Experience:
Students required a minimum of 1 year of continuous work experience.
Others:
Students without related academic experience or work experience students are also encouraged to apply, given they have to complete a 3-year UG degree from a recognized institution and required a minimum GPA in the final 2 years.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year UG degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, complete a 3-year UG degree from a recognized institution needs to fulfill extra requirements, such as work experience.
Submission of a GMAT score is mandatory for admission to MBA with a score of 600 and a GRE score (minimum 300) is recommended to submit the scores for a better chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
