- The MSc(Applied) program in Occupational Health is multidisciplinary and involves engineering, chemistry, ergonomics, epidemiology, and occupational health.
- The applied programs educate practitioners in occupational health and safety, and in industrial hygiene who will be capable of evaluating the work environment and its hazards, and of proposing appropriate methods of prevention and control.
- The Occupational Health Section pursues the following academic objectives:
- To educate professionals in occupational health and safety, and in occupational hygiene who will be capable of evaluating the work environment and its hazards, and of proposing appropriate methods of prevention and control.
- To train independent researchers in the field of occupational health and safety, and workplace environmental sciences.
- To conduct research in the disciplines of the occupational health sciences.
- The full-time program (45 credits) must be completed within three years of initial registration.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in a discipline relevant to Occupational Health, such as chemistry, engineering, environmental sciences, physics, medicine, nursing, or other health science programs.
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA): 3.0/4.0 overall, or at least 3.2/4.0 over the last two years of study.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in a discipline relevant to Occupational Health, such as chemistry, engineering, environmental sciences, physics, medicine, nursing, or other health science programs from institutions with a NAAC rating of “A”.
- The university degree, described above, must have been completed with a minimum standing of 3.3/4.0 or the equivalent, according to the grading scale on the transcript.
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
