Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- An applicant must have graduated from an accredited or government-recognized secondary school or have received his or her General Education Development (GED) certificate.
- It is recommended (but not required) that an applicant completes the equivalent of 16 academics (university preparatory) units in secondary school.
- Students who complete College Board Advanced Placement courses or International Baccalaureate exams, students with GCE A-level courses, and students who have taken coursework at another university or college may be eligible for credit transfer.
- If an applicant has enrolled in an academic program at a regionally accredited college or university for at least two years on a full-time basis, high school transcripts are no longer required.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Students have to complete the secondary school curriculum that will best prepare them for their first year of study at the university level.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.

- Online application form: Students have to submit an online application form at the official website.

VISA
- Students applying for an F-1 or J-1 visa are indicating to the US Embassy or Consulate their intention to study at a particular US university.
- In order to obtain the nonimmigrant student visa, the individual will need to prepare the appropriate documentation to have a strong visa application for a successful visa interview.
- If the visa is approved and issued the student should only enter the United States 30 days prior to the program start date on their I-20 or DS -2019 with the valid visa for the university where they intend to study.
- Students must also arrive at the university by the scheduled program start date.
- If students intend to study at another institution students should not enter the United States with a Fairleigh Dickinson University visa or I-20/DS-2019.
- Students would be required to obtain a visa for the institution where students intend to study. (This is a requirement for initial entry students and not required for returning or continuing students).
