Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Environmental Studies] From Laurentian University

Students will benefit from melding academic approaches and understanding with current and unfolding real-world issues. This is done by identifying, examining and analyzing human/environmental issues around such things as, but not limited to, the Alberta Tar Sands, natural resource extraction, and climate change as they may impact the ecosystem and human health. Students will also gain hands-on field experience through a fieldwork course and, perhaps, a fourth-year thesis.
