- The Bachelor of Arts, Major in Policy Studies (“POST”) is an interdisciplinary applied degree that integrates concepts from economics, environmental protection, philosophy, political science, and psychology.
- The student will learn policy can be used to achieve sustainability goals and apply their skills to community projects with partners such as the City of Surrey.
- The Major is designed around four core courses and two applied seminars. The core courses present key elements of public policy and explore critical sustainability theory and issues.
- In the applied seminars, students apply their research and analysis skills to develop solutions to contemporary issues. Multidisciplinary courses strengthen the foundation and increase the depth of student knowledge.
- Students will develop strong analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills, a deep understanding of the complex sustainability issues facing society today, and how to advance societal change using public policy.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
- Students are required to maintain at least a 2.0 overall GPA.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Students must require one of the following:
- Indian Senior School Certificate (ISC)
- Intermediate Certificate
- Higher School Certificate
- Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or All India Senior School Certificate
Language Requirments:
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
- Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission.
International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
