- The Program offers students high-quality training in psychological research and clinical practice through extensive practice in Clinical Psychology and thesis-based research
- The objective of the program is to prepare students for an exciting and rewarding profession as Master’s level Psychologists in Nova Scotia or for further study in clinical psychology
- In Acadia's graduate program in clinical psychology, Students will receive clinical training adhering to the Boulder Scientist-Practitioner model, with emphasis on the integration of science and practice.
- They will be trained by PhD-level clinical psychologists to use evidence-based interventions to assist individuals experiencing mental health concerns or cognitive difficulties.
- This prepares them to become a registered clinical psychologist in provinces supporting master's-level accreditation such as Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Alberta and also prepares them for continued study at the Doctorate level.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must possess an honors degree, or a four-year bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, from an approved university
International student eligibility:
- Applicants must possess an honors degree, or a four-year bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, from an approved university
- Applicants must have at least a B- average (70%) in the courses taken in the major field in the last two undergraduate years (or 60 credit hours) of university study, including coursework in an undergraduate degree(s) and any graduate work completed
- Priority is given to B.A., B.Sc. Honors Graduates
Applicant must have qualified any one of the language tests IELTS/TOEFL to prove English proficiency.
