  • The MASc in Electrical Engineering is a 2-year full-time program at the University of Windsor.
  • University of Windsor’s department of electrical and computer engineering offers a graduate-level program in electrical engineering which gives a thorough knowledge of this field.
  • An MEng Degree may be awarded upon successful completion of a total of eight courses (the MEng has no research component/thesis/work with a faculty supervisor). Of these eight courses:
    • Five courses must be from the student's department (major; electrical and computer)
    • Plus three required courses: Engineering Technical Communications, Engineering Mathematics and Engineering Project Management (to be taken in the first or second semester of the program)
    • The co-op program is optional and students must apply for admission in their first study term.
  • The Faculty to student ratio is 29:1 which bridges the gap between the faculty and students.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students must hold an undergraduate degree in engineering (BASc, BSc, BEng, or equivalent) with at least B average.

Language Requirments:

  • Students whose official language is not English are required to submit TOEFL or IELTS Scores. 

Exam Requirments:

  • GMAT Scores are mandatory to enroll in this program.
  • A competitive GMAT score would be 600 or better.
