- Engage in the analysis and dissemination of education-related research.
- Apply an advanced understanding of learning and cognition theories such that diverse learning outcomes and educational needs for all students are addressed.
- Make connections among social, personal, and community responsibilities and intellectual life in ways that advance knowledge in the area of education

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must acquire minimum "B" standing in final two years of study.
- Two years professional experience or a completed Bachelor of Education degree with a minimum B standing.
- Applicants with three-year degrees will be considered on a case-by-case basis via alternate admission procedures.
- Applications are reviewed by the graduate program committee, which considers all prior university grades, a statement of research interests, a writing sample, and letters of reference.
- Successful experience as an educator in a professional setting may be considered in the selection process.
Indian Eligibility
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
