Fanshawe College is one of the largest, most diversified and highly respected colleges in Canada. Fanshawe results on the KPI surveys exceeded the provincial college average especially in student satisfaction in terms of quality of service, programming and resources. For the past 5 years average of KPI surveys Fanshawe employed rate is around 85% and satisfaction rate of 81% (approx).The facilities offered by the college will help me gain experience be it social, recreational or my personal development. This program brings together participants from all over the world, so I would be in contact with diverse cultures and I would also develop an international network. It would be very rewarding to share and exchange thoughts and ideas with a group of people who are from different nationalities, cultural orientations and schools of thought on one platform.

When it comes about my particular course "The Aviation Technician - Avionics Maintenance (Co-Op)" program is a Transport Canada approved program (2011-08-4128) with a co-operative education component. This program provides the knowledge and skills required to start a career in aircraft avionics maintenance, which is responsible for servicing, repair and maintenance of aircraft electrical and electronics systems such as communication, navigation and data systems. This program covers all aspects of aircraft avionics systems used in general aviation, corporate, charter transport category aircraft and helicopters. I did IELTS and got overall 6.5 and each band score more than 6
Placement :
College provides us a great support giving us a co-op consultant and guiding us how to work forward and having networking programs to make links with the experts. College itself have links in between come companies and will guide us how to apply and what are the procedures
Internship :
Yes they do, there are 2 summer internship each of 4 months and we are paid. We are apprentice aircraft technicians or maintenance technicians where as the terms differs according to the job we get. Internship gives us a great exposure in the industry for our future goals

Fees :
$10,519 per semester. No scholarships applied yet. Most of the scholarships available are can be applied after completion of our 1st semester so that we would have a grading and can apply accordingly. International student loan is not available, but if we have a co-signor it is possible but the loan will go under his name.

My program is very popular among college and most our our program graduates are working in leading companies like Air Canada, JAZZ, West Jet and so on.
Hostel :
I'm in off campus which is an affordable monthly rent, I can prepare my own food so that I can save money. My parents sends me money for the expenses till I get a part time job here in Canada. Hope after I register into this program I would be able to make some money.
